A small game in which Captain Disaster has to survive through an asteroid field with navigation offline - the only option is blasting his way through! The name is, of course, inspired by The Empire Strikes Back scene where C3-PO tells Han what the odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field are.

Honestly, I stuck the Captain Disaster name on it for a laugh more than anything - there's no real link between him and this game. However he's my character, so I can do what I want!

I built this partly to see if I could, and partly to get my coding mojo back to finish up the final bits that need doing on the main CD game. It was a fun challenge and certainly seems to have helped my brain be willing to contemplate working on the (much) bigger project again.

Of note, this is the first AGS game I have ever designed specifically to be played in a web browser. As such, I'm not planning on making a downloadable version available. It's designed to be a very quick play - 25 or 50 seconds - assuming you do survive, of course. Hopefully the difficulty level has been balanced well enough to provide a decent challenge, while the optional boosts available make it a little easier for anyone finding it too tough.

A nice (very) quick fire game, it's  great that you're demonstrating the possibilities of AGS outside adventure games.

Thanks! Was trying to create some sort of pseudo-3D effect using sprite scaling. I think it kinda worked.

Congrats on the release!

Thanks mate!
